Hi, I’m Ashley.
I’m a digital arts teacher and designer in Pittsburgh, PA. I spend a lot of time thinking about how world building and concept art can give us a new language to communicate and understand parts of ourselves. It is through this language of characters, environments, and stories that I hope we can learn to see our emotions and experiences as a strength that connects us together.
Most of my work currently takes place at Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild, where I work with teens in the Pittsburgh area as a digital teaching artist. Through this experience of teaching as well as my own personal creative process, I have come to understand concept art as a tool for self-expression that builds confidence, fosters community, and give us the space we need to grow hope for the future.
